TROX TDK throttle dampers in sizes 80 to 400 are round compensating dampers to regulate volume flows in ventilation and air conditioning systems, suitable for duct pressures of up to 1000 Pa.
The throttle damper is designed without a gasket, with an all-round gap of approx. 3 mm. The throttle damper can be adjusted and fixed at settings between 0 and 90° in 2° steps, with one hand and without any tools, by means of a knob lever with position indicator.
The required setting angle - a function of pressure differential and flow rate - can be read from a diagram on the casing. The resultant sound power level can also be read from this diagram. There is no projection on the casing when the throttle damper is in open position.
