Linde has established a joint venture company with PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB) to build a state-of-the-art industrial air gas facility that will produce gaseous oxygen and nitrogen to supply the needs of PETRONAS’ world-scale Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Complex (RAPID), within the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC) in southern Malaysia. PGS will build two large air separation units and associated gas facilities resulting in a total investment of EUR 150 million.

TROX components ensure a safe working environment in hazardous areas of processing plant. Products from TROX Germany are X-Fan, JZ damper, MSA attenuator and WG weather louver are to ensure the processing plant indoor temperature does not exceed 40°C. Whenever indoor temperature rises above 40° C, Siemens building automation control system will switch individual X-Fan automatically one by one up to four units in a plant to maintain indoor temperature of maximum 40°C. JZ damper, MSA attenuator and WG weather louver are to ensure make up fresh air is drawn into the plant within acceptable noise level and no infiltration of rain water.

With installed TROX products, workers are able to work in a controlled hazardous environment. TROX products are tried and tested to ensure the hazardous working space is controlled as per consultant designed during normal and fire modes.
