Hong Kong West Kowloon is a railway station of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link. It is situated in Kowloon close to the West Kowloon Cultural District. The original planned opening date was 2012 and was delayed to 2015 due to delay in construction. The station was finally opened in September 2018. The majority of the station building is underground in 25 metres with a total usable floor space of 400,000sqm. The station structure is surrounded with its neighboring skyscrapers. West Kowloon Station has a total 15 platforms with 9 platforms for long distance and 6 for short haul regional platforms.

The building structure features a large green garden across the roof area of the station. It sets up cultural elements and entertainment spaces. Passengers can easily cross the ground floor between Kowloon Station, Austin Station and West Kowloon Cultural District, providing Hong Kong residents and visitors ample public open space and a comfortable green walking environment. Above the station, an area of approximately 8,900 square metres has been planted with a large number of plants and trees with traffic separated, creating a pedestrian area, a green platform and wooded park that will integrate with the West Kowloon Cultural District harbourside parklands. 

TROX has proudly contributed its’ construction by supplying over 6000 pcs type JFM high integrity fire and smoke dampers over the course of two year period, with the minimum trouble shooting call ups, which demonstrates the quality of product living up to its’ brand name.
