Malaysia attended the ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter 28th Annual Dinner on 25 October
2013 which was held at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Center. We support ASHRAE
for a number of years. The motto of ASHRAE Dinner is “Connect” which defined as
connecting people from different countries in the world. This is a great chance
for us to meet new customers and keep in touch with the existing customers as
well in a casual form which we don't usually get to do this in other dinners.
There
were several entertainment activities throughout the dinner such as dancing
performance, lucky draw and games. The entertainment was done by the comedian, Mr.
Helmi which people used to call him Helmi Gimmick and we had him perform at our
annual dinner in year 2012. During his performance, he had chosen Philip to
imitate the dance of Elvis Presley with him on the stage. He had dressed Philip
in Elvis style with the wig and sunglasses. And I was then called up to keep him
accompany for a dance as well. After that, he invited Max to the stage in a
Chinese traditional costume and gives a welcomed speech in Mandarin. Everyone
was truly enjoying throughout the dinner and it ended successfully at around 11
o’clock.
