Job ID PRODUCT ENGINEER

Responsibilities

  • To provide technical support within the organization and to external customers.
  • To prepare product selection and to provide training to both in-house staff and external customers.
  • To assist in the selection and evaluation of new components.
  • To be responsible in in-house product development and testing, and the upkeep of in-house test facilities.
  • To be part of a team for formulating and implementing test procedures for new product configurations and products.
  • To plan and monitor the progress of work to ensure that the assigned projects are completed on time and to specified requirements.
  • To provide support in marketing activities.


Requirements

  • Candidate should have least a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical / HVAC Engineering with a minimum two years' experience in the HVAC industry and preferably two years working experience in the design of HVAC systems.
  • Abilities to carry out on trouble shooting relating to HVAC with good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (i.e. spoken and written) are essential. Ability to read and write Chinese/Thai/Korean/Vietnamese would be an added advantage but not essential.
  • To have good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel outstation occasionally, and should have a clean driving license.
  • Formal training in health and safety matters relating to HVAC industry would also be an added advantage.
