The ASEAN Energy Awards (AEA), which promotes sustainability through energy efficiency and conservation in buildings, presented the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) with the ASEAN Energy Efficient Buildings Award (EEB) in July 2022. TROX Malaysia would like to congratulate EGAT, the largest power producer in Thailand, on their award and we are proud to have contributed to EGAT’s commitment to sustainability. TROX Malaysia was involved in the very beginning of the design way back in 2013 and supplied 792 units of active Chilled Beams (DID632) and Volume Flow Limiters (VFL) to this prestigious project. The building opened in 2017 and uses Chilled Beams on 11 floors. EGAT has invited TROX to visit the building with other project designers in order to promote and educate on how innovations in sustainability can be used in building design.
