Training with Megatara Sdn Bhd

COVID19 has been a major disruption that has changed the way we live and work.  The intention of the movement control order (MCO) in Malaysia has been to control the spread of the virus.  With limited movement of people, the MCO has drastically slowed down the spread of COVID19 in Malaysia.

Despite these restrictions, TROX has still been able to keep in touch with its customers. One example of this was a 2-day training event held for nearly 50 staff of Megatara Sdn Bhd. Through this experience both parties were able to learn and engage using different online platforms. After the setup was complete, TROX was able to share its product knowledge and the explain the application of grilles and diffusers, chilled beams, fire dampers, motorized fire & smoke dampers and variable air volume terminals. Wherever possible a link to the TROX Easy Product Finder (EPF) was used to guide the audience on how to correctly select TROX products. Each topic was followed by a Q&A session, where all questions where written in a chat room and then read out and the answer shared with all. This was a first for TROX and it provided a good experience that involved a large number of participants from one company. We actually couldn’t have done such a training at our premised with 50 participants under normal conditions.

We will therefore continue with this method of online training that can be customised to suit specific customers’ needs as part of the TROX Academy Program.
