On the 12th September, TROX took to the road again to increase knowledge of TROX products and application within the market. This time TROX headed for Cambodia and organised a joint event together with our local distributor Cambomech Engineering. The principle aim was to share TROX knowledge with 40 leading Cambodian HVAC consultants and contractors.  This was achieved during a 2-hour intensive training session followed by dinner and networking opportunities for the guests. 
 
The most popular questions asked by the attendees were:
 
• Why should we use swirl diffusers instead of 4 ways throw diffusers?
 
• Why use constant air volume or variable air volume controllers instead of balancing dampers for air balancing?
 
• What is chilled beam and would it work in Cambodia?
 
During the training session, TROX was able to introduce and demonstrate the benefits of the AIRNAMIC swirl diffusers, CAV & VFL constant flow regulators,  TVB-A & TVR-Easy VAV boxes as well as DID632 active chilled beams. All the guests were then encouraged to get hands-on experience by inspecting the TROX product samples on display. This enabled them to get a better understanding of each of the product’s features and share their ideas and opinions so that TROX could obtain an insight into how to provide the further training in future. Suggestions were also made on how some products could be adapted to suit the local market needs.  The discussion went so well that we all forgot that the buffet dinner was already served.
