TROX Malaysia officially opened its New Factory on the 25th September, which is an extension to the existing facility in Senawang. The grand opening was officiated by distinguished guests, Mr Nikolaus Graf Lambsdorff, German Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr Thomas Mosbacher, 

CFO TROX Group and Mr Dominic Otte, Vice Chairman of the TROX Group Supervisory Board. The opening ceremony commenced with a walk through the new factory which was followed by speeches from the officials. All officials and directors were then invited to the stage to simultaneously press a button that launched glittering ticker tape display into the air and across the assembled visitors to symbolise the official opening in grand style

The new plant represents an estimated MYR 7.0 million investment by TROX in Senawang and will provide a further 3,100m² of manufacturing space together with an additional loading bay. This new facility will host the manufacturing of all industrial products for the Tunnel and Marine/Oil & Gas markets and will provide additional space for customer Factory Acceptance Testing and Witness & Inspection Testing in order to meet the demanding expectations of our customers.

TROX has also invested in a new state of the art Fibre Laser Cutting CNC machine to support the higher demand for project specific customisation, enabling reduced lead times and increased capacity to suit the growing tunnel business in Asia Pacific and Worldwide.
